Abstract

The article provides a philosophical and cultural analysis of the correlation of the Apollonian and Dionysian concepts in the key piece of music of the Northern Russian composer V. Gavrilin “Perezvony” (“Chimes”). The piece of music unfolds the entire sound semiosphere of the natural and cultural landscape of the Russian North, which reveals a pronounced opposition of the given concepts.
