Based on the sociological research conducted in the Arkhangelsk Region, we revealed adaptive peculiarities and ability to migrate of different groups of citizens. The low level of social development of a territory and not severe climatic conditions proved to be the key factor in migration activity.Keywordssocial space, local environment, social identity, northern territories, spatial identity, migrations.References1.
