Lomonosov AbstractThe article proves the necessity of psychological and pedagogical support of adaptation of universitystudents from the Far North rural areas. It has been revealed that the level of personal, social and communicative competence of students determines the success of their social and psychological adaptation to the university. It has been proved that the level of curative thinking defines the level of socio-communicative and personal competence.
