Abstract

The article considers the question of development of foreign and domestic trade in tar delivered from the territory of the Vazhsky region, which specialized in tar distillation. The main problems of tar products distribution are analyzed on the basis of archive and statistical materials. Some interrelated factors that caused growth of trade through the Arkhangelsk port as well as the state of tar distillation in the north of Russia are enumerated.
