Abstract

The paper dwells on the low progress of technical university students in physics. One of the factors of this development is the low level of school-leavers’ knowledge in physics and mathematics. An introduction course for university students starting to study general physics is proposed. Such a course would raise the students’ level of knowledge in physics and mathematics.
