AbstractStrengthening of new poles at the macro-regional level during the financial crisis has brought the world to redistribution of influence in the polycentric international system in favor of the Asia-Pacific and South American regions. Thus, the spectrum of potential challenges in Russian-Polish relations is also undergoing gradual changes. In these conditions, security improvement of both countries on the obviously underestimated microregional level is growing in importance. The authors suggest some options for tackling security issues at the level of Russian-Polish microregional cooperation.KeywordsRussia, Poland, non-military threats, security issues, regional level. |
