Abstract

The review gives a high assessment of the innovative educational publication, which is a course of lectures dedicated to the current issues of linguodidactics as a general theory of teaching foreign languages and cultures. The author, N.F. Koryakovtseva, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor at the Moscow State Linguistic University, examines the discipline in the context of the development of modern linguistic education, paying special attention to the anthropocentric approach and the intercultural paradigm.
