Abstract

The paper analyses the results of and prospects for the contemporary historiography of the Russian Civil War. It considers the influence of modern social and technological processes on the state of research and understanding of the events of 1917–1922. In addition, the author provides an assessment of some poorly studied aspects of the history of the Civil War.
