Abstract

The article dwells on the discussion of the manuscript of volume 11 at the meetings of the editorial board of the 20-volume History of Russia and gives references to the author’s opinion about it. The authors, key ideas and main disadvantages of this volume are characterized. The article provides an overall assessment of this work and points out the negative consequences of its publication for the multi-volume project.
