Moscow, 2016. 399 p.The national question and national policies of the contending forces during the Civil War in Russia has always generated interest and a variety of opinions. Today, this is again a topical issue due to the centenary of the Russian Civil War. This review characterizes a monograph of a St. Petersburg historian A.S. Puchenkov dealing with the national policy of General Denikin. The monograph analyses the interactions between the Denikin regime and Poland and Finland, the state units and peoples of the Caucasus, Ukrainian nationalists and the Jewish population, as well as studies the role and place of the national question in the activities of the South Russian White movement.
