As a strategy for such ecological education the author suggest using transdisciplinary approach, transdisciplinarity meaning a unity of knowledge beyond the specific disciplines. Implementation of this approach in education will help establish a link between the humanities, natural and social sciences, as well as art, literature, poetry and other spheres of spiritual experience, i.e. using the principle of complementarity combine the things that traditionally have been seen as direct opposites. The study of the process of integration has revealed its bases, factors, conditions, mechanisms and functions, while the study of its results has shown the degree of integration of the content of educational materials in the intra-subject and intra- and inter-cycle space, as well as the depth of interaction between the information being integrated on the empirical, theoretical, and methodological levels. The article introduces the stages of practical implementation of the ideas of integration in ecological training of students. This paper can be useful for ecological training of students in various fields.Keywordsintegration, ecological education, ecological culture, educational content, interdisciplinary, transdisciplinary, systems-synergetic approach, integrative and humanities approachReferences
