Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the results of the scientific conference of young scientists: postgraduate students, Master’s Degree students, and students of the Higher School of Social Sciences, Humanities and International Communication, Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M.V. Lomonosov. The conference looked at important issues of international relations in the Arctic as well as at the regional policies of the circumpolar countries. The participants discussed current challenges and risks as well as ways to overcome them by the countries having claims on the resources and potential of the Arctic.
