The research aimed to develop a concept of forming socio-communicative competence of university students through pedagogical interaction. The novelty of the suggested concept is that we have developed an interactive programme aimed to form socio-communicative competence, as well as principles and techniques for efficient functioning of educational systems. In addition, we have determined the purpose, means and expected result of forming socio-communicative competence of university students. The results of the study have shown that socio-communicative competence of university students helps improve their work as specialists in terms of personal, social and state needs and interests. Pedagogical interaction includes the ideas of cultural-linguistic personality development and the dialogue between cultures in teaching university students about the methods of knowledge acquisition and its practical use. The paper highlights some aspects of forming human competence in the sphere of social relations, social behaviour and everyday interpersonal contacts for more efficient pedagogical interaction.
