We analyzed the use of e-learning resources and identified the causes of their limited application. We show that the resources need to enhance their pedagogical component. In addition, we propose guidelines for the development of educational and work situations where e-learning resources are used. The paper introduces the concept of “e-learning materials”, by which we mean electronic educational resources with pedagogical support. Pedagogical support includes the following: estimated results of using e-learning resources; pedagogical model of their use; possible tools for assessing students’ progress.
