Abstract

An economic crisis upsets the balance of a system as a whole and can be resolved, first of all, through reduction in employment and income, which leads to the growth of social protests and lower labour productivity. Such development perfectly corresponds to the Catastrophe theory, and in particular, the Cusp catastrophe.
