Abstract

The article considers the problem of incorporation of regional art of word into the literary understanding of the North, comprehension of "one’s own place" and, in particular, Arkhangelsk on the geopoetic map of Russia. Identity of Arkhangelsk in the considered texts is achieved by carrying over of the main mythologems of St. Petersburg panegyric on its image.
