Abstract

The article is devoted to the issues of cultural cooperation of Russia in the Barents region within the mandate of the Barents Council and the Barents Regional Council under conditions of new sociocultural development strategies. The author suggests extending this cooperation taking into account specific features of different regions, existing cultural aims and tasks as well as specific features of cultural activities in each of the regions.
