Abstract

The article adduces the method of adjusting factor calculation to one of biological parameters (biomass) of Littoral Fucaceae in the White Sea in order to specify the number of seaweed stocks in thickets with different levels of density of the bottom covering. The optimum number of tests necessary for a reliable evaluation of littoral seaweed distribution was determined; for each category of thickets an equation for calculation of stocks was worked out.
