AbstractThe intellect structure of schoolchildren of a secondary school in Novodvinsk was studied with the use of traditional methods: GIT (Group Intelligence Tests), Amthauer’s test and Raven’s test. The age and gender-specific features of intellect development at every age-related stage of ontogenesis were detected. It is shown, that the level of IQ tests performance of schoolchildren aged 11-18 years is lower than the norms, the worst performance results being those of the Arithmetical Problems subtest.Keywordsschoolchildren, intellect structure, analytical and synthetic skills, intellectual lability. |
