Abstract

Zooplankton structure and composition of different types of lesser water bodies (thaw lakes, sedgemoss bogs and lakes and sea marshes) in Malozemelskaya tundra were investigated. Differences in species composition, quantity and trophic structure of zooplankton in water bodies under consideration, related to diversity of bioenvironmental conditions, were discovered. Trophic status of water bodies under consideration was defined.
