Abstract

The article analyses spatiotemporal dynamics of the content of total organic substance (OS) and its group structure in various soil types of Arkhangelsk urbanized landscapes. Peculiarities of accumulation of OS in them and the priority direction of humification were revealed. Eco-protective function performed by humic substances in seasonally freezing soils was evaluated.
