Abstract

The temperature mode of the honeybee winter cluster during the reproductive diapause is shown. Diapause duration for bees of the Central Russian race of Prikamsk population is revealed. Data on temperature mode dynamics in the cluster of wintering bee families are important to understand their mechanisms of thermoregulation and to work out ways of optimizing their wintering in a zone with moderate and frigid climate.
