Abstract

Nowadays it is difficult to achieve harmony between the aesthetic and technical components when developing design objects, especially in the art of website creation. When making a website one has to apply knowledge of design composition, psychology of colour, styles, and usability. The article points out key characteristics of an aesthetic website. An example of such website is provided: the Internet resource of the section “Information Technologies in Design” of the international conference “Regional Informatics”.
