Shchepikhin, a prominent figure in the anti-Bolshevik movement and participant in the Civil War in eastern Russia. The review describes not only the memoirs and their problematic use as a historical source, but also Shchepikhin himself as a memoirist and his writing process. In addition, the paper devotes some attention to the work of the book’s editor and commentator.KeywordsS.A.
