Abstract

Review of the books: Pivoev V.M. Soul and Consciousness. Petrozavodsk, 2016. 110 p. (in Russ.); Pivoev V.M. Body and Soul. Petrozavodsk, 2017. 112 p. (in Russ.); Pivoev V.M. Philosophy of Self-Identification. Petrozavodsk, 2018. 328 p. (in Russ.).
This article reviews V.M. Pivoev’s books dealing with the concept of distinguishing four classes of sciences (natural, technical, social sciences and the humanities). The books also analyse the hypotheses about the relationship between energy and time and about the existence of two types of human soul: the bodily soul and the spiritual soul. The author of the review makes some observations on Pivoev’s concepts.
