Abstract

The article reproduces, in an abridged form, the author’s ignored comments that were made during the discussion of volume 11 of the History of Russia (Nauka Publ.), which focuses on the history of Russia during World War I and the revolutionary upheavals of 1917. The volume’s editor in chief, Dr. V.P. Buldakov, has ignored the vast majority of the comments, particularly those related to the work’s economic section. This is a major disadvantage of the volume, which does not allow it to be considered academic and in line with the requirements for such publications in Russian and foreign historiography.
