Abstract

The article covers the results of the international scientific seminar that took place in the Norwegian city of Tromsø and was devoted to the 70th birthday anniversary of the prominent historian, Professor Jens Petter Nielsen. The author analyses Nielsen’s scientific achievements as well as the reports presented at the seminar and their contents.
