Abstract

The paper represents the results of research of the influence of the Lekshmoozero tectonic center on morphometric parameters of cowberries plants (Vaccinium vitis-idaea L.) in the pine forests. Earlier the influence of geo-ecological conditions (tectonic centers, convective heat flow) on the environment was established. That fact should be considered at studying biogeocenosis and vegetable raw materials. The areas of tectonic centers are characterized by changes in the structure of vegetation, snow, clouds, rainfall in summer, ionization effects in the atmosphere. All these factors change the plant populations in phytocoenoses in such areas. The authors concluded that the tectonic center is one of the most important geo-ecological factors of the environment, and it affects the morphometric parameters of plants: they are significantly higher within the boundaries of the tectonic center, than beyond the pale of it. It concerns a weight and a number of leaves per 1 m2 and a weight of spears. The yield of cowberry crops in the center is less significantly than at the periphery. These areas are differ by the number of berries: in the center – 9,32±1,44 pcs/m2, on the periphery – 54,68±8,49 pcs/m2. Overall, the difference between the yield of cowberry crops within the boundaries of the tectonic center and beyond the pale of it is 79 % and the difference in the number of berries per 1 m2 is 82 %. Since the leaves of cowberry are considered as drug raw materials, it should be noted that their resources, according to data, obtained at our research on the territory of the tectonic center, exceed the resources beyond it.
