In addition, it dwells on the structure of their readiness for family life and its individual components; determines the requirements to the teacher, including requirements to his/her level of spiritual and moral development. The author suggests the content of a socio-pedagogical training programme on family life for senior pupils and describes the basic methods of arranging various classroom activities, as well as teaching techniques and practices taking into account the age-specific and socio-pedagogical features of senior pupils. The paper shows that senior pupils’ active participation depends on the family composition. It should be noted that in the Russian system of extracurricular education (in terms of forming the attitude towards family and marriage), there are no government programmes or educational standards, which makes teachers look for or develop their own programmes and submit them for approval. The author makes a conclusion that in order to help pupils form their attitude towards family and marriage, one has to be aware of the socio-pedagogical peculiarities, forms and methods of teaching, as well as know how to organise the educational process.
