Abstract

The article is devoted to a topical issue of development of timber transport infrastructure and
construction of forest roads in particular. The article analyzes current government financial mechanisms
stimulating construction of forest roads and deals with the problems arising under their implementation.
The authors propose an arrangement for financing the construction of timber transport infrastructure
using the regional road fund under the public-private partnership.
