Lomonosov, Institute of Social, Humanitarian and Political Sciences e-mail: kmi49@mail.ru AbstractThe article considers liquidationist and nihilistic tendencies in relation to Marxist philosophy in theUSSR in the 1920s. In connection with this, the views of S.K. Minin, E. Enchmen, I.A. Borichevsky as well as of “mechanists” and “dialecticians” are analyzed. It is shown that the majority of Soviet Marxists strongly criticized these views, showing the presence of philosophy in Marxism and highlighting its role for the society.
