Abstract

During the Round Table the participants discussed the role and significance of the Russian Revolutions
both in Russian and world history, their reasons, epoch-making landmarks and contemporary evaluations,
as well as the relevant research methodology. In addition, the participants identified the reasons why
the approaches to and viewpoints on the revolutionary process in Russia had changed and evaluated
the lessons of history and the importance of the Russian Revolutions for today’s Russia and the world.
