Lomonosov (Arkhangelsk, Russia) AbstractThe article reveals one of the global trends in the field of higher education which is developmentof Master’s programmes as innovative educational products. Most of successful Master’s programmes take into consideration needs and requirements of today’s labour market. As a rule they are integrative and allow academic freedom. The share of Master’s programmes at leading universities is constantly growing. This attracts foreign students and contributes to best educational practices. The article deals with the key principles of designing a master’s programme in humanities which will appeal to students, as well as be competitive and sustainable due to business participation and international integration: systemacy, transparency of learning outcomes, integrity, and learnercenteredness.
