Abstract

The article considers the functioning of conjunction in asyndetic structures of German oral speech.
The author analyzes a number of structures and concludes that the specific character of oral conjunction
structures is a result of the speaker’s intention to meet the requirements of the communicative situation
and reach the goals of communication using the advantages of spontaneous speech production.
