Abstract
Using remote sensing data, we studied the cloud cover above the Kandalaksha graben and the adjacent territories. The Kandalaksha graben turned out to have practically no cloud cover on the faults limiting the structure during summer, which indicates increased deep degassing. Groundtruth observations indicate deep degassing, changes in the structure of pressure field and induced magnetotelluric currents along the Kandalaksha graben.
Keywords
north of the East European Craton, Kandalaksha graben, remote sensing of the Earth, deep degassing, induced magnetotelluric currents, cloudiness.
