Abstract

The article considers the ways of conceptualizing the image of the Russian North in the poetry of O.A. Fokina, which include nominative, expressive and “translational” means. Among them are: lexemes naming the North and its realia; toponyms; dialecticisms; folklore-specific words; occasionalisms stylized as living Northern speech.
