Abstract

We studied peculiarities of spatio-temporal organization of brain bioelectrical activity (BBA) in male and female students listening to relaxing music traditionally used in music therapy. Men listening to music had decreased spatial synchronization of brain biopotential in alpha- and beta-bands in the left hemisphere, while women, in both hemispheres. Reorganization of BBA in women listening to relaxing music indicates a more subtle differentiation of audio information and attempts to verbalize it.

Keywords
